Best Single Source Coordinator
The Best Single Source program, a 9 agency collaborative of the Basic Needs Coalition designed to stabilize low-income families’ and individuals’ housing, is seeking an administrative professional to coordinate its operations. This is a part-time position for someone who has strong data analysis skills, the ability to generate numbers for contract reporting, has strong organizational skills, is an effective communicator, has the ability to work with a variety of persons in various levels of responsibility, is proficient utilizing a data management system, various office software applications, particularly Excel. Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing accounting processes, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Other primary duties include preparation of government grant reports and acting as fiscal agent liaison with collaborative partners. Requires B.A. in accounting, finance or related field with a minimum of three years accounting experience. Non-profit accounting experience preferred. Thorough understanding of GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel necessary. Experience with government grant reimbursements helpful. Salary Range is $42,000-$45,000. Resettlement Specialist
The Resettlement Specialist is in charge of all the pre-arrival duties for newly arrived refugees, helps prepare the monthly reports, maintains and develops relationships with apartment complexes and vendors, and assists with interpretation as needed. The candidate must be bilingual in one of the languages listed under requirements. The ideal candidate has outstanding organization skills, is a team player, has excellent communication skills, is able to work under pressure and within deadline, is flexible.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree (social work or related degree preferred)
One year experience in social service setting
Bi-lingual: (listed by order of preference), Burmese, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili, French, or Spanish. (Language skills will be tested with native speaker during interview.)
Valid driver’s license
Please note that 30% of this position involves moderate lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, moving, assisting with items or awkward weights up to or over 25lbs, reaching above/below the waist, climbing staircases, and standing.
