Cans for Crocs

The University of Texas and its men's and women's athletics programs recently teamed up with Crocs, a UT Athletics sponsor, to collect food items for use in community food distribution programs and to simultaneously help boost fan attendance at home events. During the Longhorns' “Cans for Crocs” promotion, UT fans donated non-perishable food items in return for a pair of Longhorns style Crocs at select UT Athletics home events. To date, Cans for Crocs has helped collect 4,000 lbs. of food for Caritas of Austin. Caritas thanks UT Athletics and Crocs for their continued support in the fight against hunger.
