Housing
Our goal at Caritas is to help Travis County individuals or families facing a temporary financial crisis to access housing or maintain their current housing stability. Depending on your family and financial situation, Caritas may be able to assist you one time or offer you more support through one of its case management programs.
Permanent Supportive Housing
Permanent housing and supportive services for indivduals who are chronically homeless and have a disability.
Transitional Housing
Reentry/Passages: transitional housing for up to 18 months; case management for up to 24 months.
MYPLACE: (Make Your Path Leave Addiction Choose Excellence) -- transitional housing, case management and substance abuse counseling for up to 24 months
Homeless Veterans: Case management and transitional housing tailored to needs and challenges of veterans who have served in wars and conflicts from WWII to the present conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
We locate, secure and prepare housing in the community to resettle refugees referred to the agency by the Department of State. Through federal funding, our resettlement program assists refugees from around the world with their housing expenses for up to four months after they arrive.
We can assist you with rent and provide long term case management and life skills training
- Community Support Program : One-time rent or utilies assistance.
- Best Single Source Project : Rent and/or utilities assistance, long term case management and life skills training.
Caritas offers one time assistance as well as long term utility assistance depending on eligibility and availability.
