Assist refugees
Coach and mentor refugees moving towards self-sufficiency, assist with
interpretation and acculturation activities, or prepare an apartment
for refugee arrival.
- Coach and mentor newly-arrived refugees fleeing persecution in their
home countries as they transition towards self-sufficiency in their
new home.
- Provide interpretation or acculturation activities in areas relating
to finance, employment, transportation, and grocery shopping for refugees.
- Transform apartments into a welcoming home for arriving refugees.
Time Commitment: 2-5 hours a week
Training is offered on a flexible schedule.
