Time Commitment: Flexible
Dress Code: Caritas requires volunteers in the Kitchen be suitably attired. Jeans and t-shirts are fine. We require closed-toed shoes, no sandals or flip-flops. We realize that summers in Austin are hot, but our minimum clothing requirements dictate that shorts worn must be no more than three inches above the knee. No short shorts or tank tops are allowed and volunteers who come dressed unsuitably will be required to change clothes before volunteering in the Kitchen. Long hair must be secured away from food, tied up or back in a cap.
To volunteer, contact Molly Sipe for an interview and orientation at (512) 646-1291 or msipe@caritasofaustin.org.,
complete the Volunteer Application and/or attend the Volunteer Open House.
