Volunteering at cooling centers or community hubs that provide neighbors a place to cool down.

This summer, Caritas of Austin is distributing hundreds of Beat the Heat kits across our housing communities and through our direct services. These kits are carefully designed with the needs of our neighbors in mind, and your contributions make them possible. There is also a Beat The Heat fund that helps us respond to the most urgent needs as they arise throughout the season.
