Thank you for serving in the Caritas of Austin Community Kitchen! As a token of our appreciation, volunteers can receive a Caritas of Austin hat to wear during their shifts with a minimum gift of $20.
How it works:
- Volunteers can wear their hats in lieu of a hair net when serving in the Kitchen.
- This is not a purchase. Hats are given as a thank-you gift to our Community Kitchen volunteers who give at least $20.
- Only volunteers who actively serve in the Community Kitchen are eligible.
- The first $20 of your gift is not tax-deductible because it covers the value of the thank-you gift. Any amount you give above $20 will be tax-deductible.
- You’ll receive an acknowledgment email for your records, including tax information.
