This year is extra special for the ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot. We’re celebrating ThunderCloud’s 50th anniversary and the Turkey Trot’s 35th year of bringing Austin together for fitness, fun, and giving back. As the largest five-mile run in Texas, the Trot draws nearly 20,000 participants each Thanksgiving morning and has raised more than $5.4 million for Caritas of Austin’s work to prevent and end homelessness.

From packet pick-up to race day, volunteers keep this Austin tradition alive and support Caritas of Austin’s mission to end homelessness.
