Caritas of Austin is recruiting members for its Board of Directors. This is your opportunity to lead in an established and innovative organization making a lasting impact. Caritas of Austin, founded in 1964, is a leader in our community’s ambition to solve homelessness – one of our most intractable challenges in ATX. Using proven methods with high rates of success, our organization is ending homelessness for families and individuals every day. We want to end homelessness for MORE; and we need community leaders for this critical work.
Caritas’ Board is committed to a well-rounded membership with regard to areas of expertise, life experience commensurate with our mission, and identification with communities of color. We are seeking diverse candidates that reflect both the community in Austin and Travis County and those we serve. We welcome applicants with a variety of expertise, including but not limited to leaders in real estate/housing development law, finance, and banking.
