Caritas of Austin’s 2021 Words of Hope wrapped up last Thursday, September 30, and we want to extend a huge thank you to our community for helping raise over $325,000 through a virtual Fund the Mission campaign!
Cancelling our in-person event was a hard, but necessary, decision to make when COVID-19 continued to surge this summer. We couldn’t be more grateful to our presenting sponsor, Austin Subaru , who stuck with us through this big change. It is thanks to their support, plus the generosity of many other sponsors and donors, that we are able to end homelessness for even more Austinites.
“The Subaru brand is all about love, and that is what Caritas gives each day,” says Will Hardeman, owner of Austin Subaru. The philanthropic company has worked with over 100 local non-profits and organizations, and they have a long history of supporting Caritas of Austin.
“Caritas of Austin’s mission is only possible with the support of this community,” says Hardeman. “Only together can we end homelessness, so we’d like to thank all of the sponsors who joined Austin Subaru -including our Champion Sponsors, ABC Home & Commercial Services and Alori Properties- for their dedication to this important work.”
